Our year officially began with our Missioning liturgy on Sunday 4 February. A milder day in the middle of a heat wave was a welcome change but we all enjoyed the new air conditioning regardless! Amongst our years of service recipients, we especially acknowledge Anna Colonico from Morley Wednesday group for 25 years of service.

Fr Vincent reminded us that we are the presence of Christ to our Friends. We were fortunate to have Debra Sayce, recently appointed Head of Mission Enhancement and Outreach for Archdiocesan Agencies, attend and inspire us with her vision for our agencies – to add colour and form to the blank canvas of each agency within the frame provided by our leadership.

Following the liturgy, nearly 70 people enjoyed fellowship, food and refreshments.
