Identitywa is continuously working to deliver excellent support and service to our existing community and those who will be joining our community over the next few years. We’re pleased to be offering people with a disability the opportunity to live in brand new, contemporary, accessible homes.

In partnership with specialist builders and developers, Identitywa is creating accessible homes designed for three people to share. The homes are located close to established parks, public transport and key facilities such as shopping precincts, recreational venues and dining spots.

Due to be completed between late 2025 and late 2026, these homes are conveniently located across the metropolitan area in the communities where participants already have established connections.

These homes have been carefully crafted with participants’ needs at the heart of every design decision and include large bedrooms each with ensuites and peaceful outdoor spaces. We have also incorporated large open plan living and alfresco areas where participants can catch up with housemates or welcome visitors.

Anthony who participates in activities run by the Morley Personal Advocacy Service moved into an Identitywa home in December 2023 and his family has been very pleased with his transition.

His sister Elena was delighted to share their experience.

“Since moving into his new Identitywa home, Anthony is much happier. The care and support from the Identitywa team, along with the social connections he’s made, have played a pivotal role in his positive transformation.

“The proximity to his family, church and familiar surroundings, as well as the consistent work and social arrangements, have all contributed to improvements in his overall wellbeing.

“Additionally, Anthony has formed meaningful connections with new friends Damian and Sandro, who are close to his age. These interactions, coupled with the life skills he is acquiring, such as independent living and social engagement, have significantly enhanced his quality of life,” Elena said.
